Meet Roxie-Rae! Roxie-Rae is a sweet, gentle girl who is looking for her perfect forever home. At first meeting, she may seem a little shy and reserved, but don't let that fool you. Once she warms up to you, she is affectionate, playful, and absolutely loves soaking up attention from the people she trusts. Roxie-Rae is fully crate trained and will happily put herself to bed on command. No fuss, no drama. She is gentle and patient with people of all ages, having lived comfortably alongside everyone from a toddler to an elderly adult without a single incident. She has no history of food aggression and has never shown any aggression toward humans whatsoever. Roxie-Rae has shared a home with up to six dogs of various sizes as well as cats, and she has done wonderfully in multi-pet households. She does best with dogs of similar or larger size and would thrive in a home where she can run, play, and enjoy the great outdoors. She is currently being placed in a home without small dogs, so a household with medium to large canine companions would be her sweet spot. She can be sensitive to tone and tends to respond best to calm, gentle guidance. She is not the right match for a heavy-handed household, but with a patient and loving owner she blossoms quickly. Roxie-Rae is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
